FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: sequential ultrasound scanning of right and left internal jugulars is carried out with evaluation of their respiratory excursion. That is followed by lifting bed back section at positive angle and repeated ultrasound scanning. At that, assessment of internal jugulars respiratory excursions is carried out in 2 minutes after next back section lifting at positive angle. Angle is increased by 5° up to moment of closure of walls of inner jugular vein with one side occurrence on screen of ultrasound scanner.
EFFECT: method enables reducing risk of developing complications during gravity correction of venous blood outflow from human brain due to exclusion of venous cerebral plethora and cerebral dislocation.
