SUBSTANCE: invention relates to video processing and generation of image data, imaging of three-dimensional (3D) image. Disclosed is method of displaying object. According to method 3D model of photographic image or video image of object is obtained, 3D model is displayed. 3D model is saved in memory of display device together with reference image, as well as coordinates of texturing sections corresponding to 3D model polygons. One obtains at least one frame image or video image of object, object identification on frame is based on reference image. If more than one frame is selected from them in terms of quality of image, matrix of photographic image coordinate conversion in proper coordinates is formed, 3D model elements are coloured in colours of corresponding image elements by forming texture image reading area using coordinate conversion and data interpolation matrix, followed by prescribing texture to 3D model.

EFFECT: technical result is possibility to display on visible image of real texture of photo or video image of object.
