FIELD: fire safety.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of extinguishing fire. Heat source (energy) and motive force source (driving gas) used is a pyrotechnic aerosol agent, which is ignited. High temperature generated by combustion of pyrotechnic agent is utilised to make a fire extinguishing composition of a fire extinguishing substance, which is sprayed out together with pyrotechnic aerosol agent for extinguishing a fire. Fire-fighting composition contains a chemical substance, which during heating can decompose and can release gas, liquid or solid particles, which can extinguish fire, said substance is zinc carbonate, or during heating can sublimate and, after sublimation, can extinguish fire or undergoes chemical reaction between heated components to form a reaction product which can extinguish fire.
EFFECT: compared to existing aerosol fire safety systems, gas and water fire extinguishing systems, present fire extinguishing method is more effective and safe.
