FIELD: manufacturing technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of seamless hot-rolled pipes using materials intended for treatment of inner surface of sleeves. Method involves treatment of the sleeve inner surface by injection of lubricant by gas and deformation of heated sleeve. Lower coefficient of friction on the contact surface “mandrel-deformable metal ", higher quality of products is ensured by the fact that injection is performed at an acute angle to longitudinal axis of sleeve in direction of the upper generatrix crossing with sleeve edge during its rotation. Distribution of lubricant on the inner surface of the sleeve is made by vortex gas flow in direction opposite to direction of sleeve rotation, whereupon the vortex gas flow is supplied after injection of lubricating material. Lubricant consumption upon injection varies from 60 to 160 g/m2, gas pressure value during injection and distribution of lubricant is differentiated depending on its density and sleeve size, and total time of transportation and lubricant injection is regulated.
EFFECT: lower coefficient of friction on the contact surface “mandrel-deformable metal”, higher quality of products.
