FIELD: biotechnologies.
SUBSTANCE: method of the quantitative assessment of lytic activity of bacteriophages envisions the preparation of a bacterial suspension of an ephemeral microorganism culture grown up at pre-set conditions and joined with beef-extract broth and a specific bacteriophage. The assessment of the lytic activity of the bacteriophage is performed by an average value of multiple measurements of the optical density with the deduction of the optical density of a background of reaction of the interaction of components. At the obtained value of the parameter of no more than 0.045±0.025 the tested microorganism is assessed as sensitive to the bacteriophage. At the obtained value of the parameter of the lytic activity higher than the named above the microorganism is deemed steady against the studied bacteriophage.
EFFECT: invention allows improving the reliability of the result.
