SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to pharmacology and clinical pharmacology, and is intended for assessment of functional activity of glycoprotein-P (Pgp) in experimental and clinical practice for implementation of effective and safe pharmacotherapy substrates of said protein-conveyor. Summary: as marker is single oral administration of rabbits fexofenadine 67.5 mg/kg of body weight in form of suspension prepared on purified water, and blood sampling in animals followed by analysis of plasma concentration of fexofenadine only 3 times. For estimation of Pgp functioning of its maximum concentration - Cmax is calculated, which value is inversely proportional to functional activity of protein-conveyor by formula:

EFFECT: invention provides cheap, informative and in relatively short time analyse intensity of operation of said protein-conveyor and correction of drug dose of number of its substrates in order to provide effective and safe pharmacotherapy.
