FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: device for protection from pulsed signals with levelling amplitudes of decomposed pulses relates to electrical engineering and is used for protection of equipment from pulses. Technical result is achieved due to that geometrical parameters of conductors and dielectrics, as well as relative permittivity of dielectrics, are selected so that these parameters define board delays of even and odd modes of propagation of transverse electromagnetic waves not equal to each other, as well as due to that resistance value is equal to geometric middling value of impedances of even and odd modes, which will lead to alignment of amplitudes of decomposed pulses, and hence, to reducing maximums of said amplitudes.
EFFECT: technical result consists in balancing amplitudes of decomposed pulses to provide more perfect protection against short pulses with dangerous high voltage in transmission lines connected to protected circuits.
