FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electrical engineering and can be used for protection from pulsed signals with a given level of attenuation thereof. This device consists of three parallel conductors in dielectric with equal distances between them, located on one side of the dielectric substrate or with location of centre conductor on the back side, so that in cross section of the device conductors are equal, have rectangular shape, and their length is selected so that the difference of complete delay of even and odd modes excited by pulse signal is greater than its duration; second conductor structure is central conductor, the first and second conductors on one end of the device are electrically connected to circuit pulse signal source, and on the other end it contains protected circuit and two resistors, the circuit of source and protected circuit are located in the channel with equal wave impedance, and its value and values of resistance of two resistors are equal to average compound value of impedances of even and odd modes , and double square root of the ratio of wave resistances of even and odd modes, divided by the square of the sum of square root of the ratio of wave resistances of even and odd modes and unit is equal to the level of attenuation.
EFFECT: technical result consists in ensuring protection from short pulses with dangerous high voltage with a given level of their attenuation in transmission lines.
