SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electrical equipment. Technical result is achieved due to the delay line consisting of a single reference conductor, two parallel to it and to each other signal conductors, connected to each other at one end, the dielectric medium, with the such choice of line parameters that provides the equality of the mean geometric value of the wave impedances of even and odd modes to the wave impedance of the path, into which the line is included, values of the minimum of the running delays of the even and odd line modes, and also their difference modulus multiplied by the length of the line, greater, than the sum of the front, the flat vertex, and the pulse decay durations supplied into the line. By selection of the line cross-section parameters, the difference modulus in the maximum and doubled minimum of the linear delays values are minimized and the first three pulses amplitudes at the line output are equalized.

EFFECT: technical result is increase in the ultrashort pulses duration to ensure the radio electronic equipment protection against the ultrashort pulses.
