FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to fixing tube or catheter when introduced into human body. Disclosed is an inflatable system for fixing tube for enteral nutrition, which has a base located outside body and retainer, inserted into body through stoma outside and deployed in a body cavity. Said system comprises: a tube having a proximal end, a distal end, a predetermined outer diameter and a wall defining a feed channel and a channel for inflating and an inflatable balloon located at distal end of tube connected in fluid communication with channel for inflating and having a thin flexible wall, a predetermined shape of a spheroid, a backup volume, wherein fluid in cylinder is not pressurised. Said volume has a lower limit greater than 0.5 ml, and an upper limit corresponding to transition of unstretched balloon in an expanded state, and predetermined volume while filling in excess of about 1.01-1.5 times upper limit of reserve volume. Also described is an additional version of said system and tube assembly for enteral nutrition.
EFFECT: high reliability and simple operation.
