SUBSTANCE: invention relates to wireless communication engineering and can be used for processing of demodulation reference signal. Method of processing demodulation reference signal (DMRS) includes, in particular, steps on which by means of a base station generating DMRS corresponding to an enhanced physical downlink control channel (E-PDCCH), in accordance with information available to user equipment (UE) receiving E-PDCCH sent by base station, base station, initial value of pseudorandom sequence used for generation of DMRS corresponding E-PDCCH in accordance with format of downlink control information (DCI) E-PDCCH, if corresponding DMRS is generated for E-PDCCH different DCI formats by using different initial values of pseudorandom sequence, if corresponding DMRS is generated for E-PDCCH different levels of aggregation by using different initial values of pseudorandom sequence, base station is determined by initial value of pseudorandom sequence used for generation of DMRS corresponding E-PDCCH according to aggregation level E-PDCCH.

EFFECT: technical result is providing demodulation of E-PDCCH without using a base station scrambling identifier (SCID) for generating DMRS.
