FIELD: blasting operations.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to testing explosion-proof structures of process equipment. Test bench comprises: a model of explosive object with high-explosive fragmentation element and an exploding initiator arranged in the testing bay, a protective cover with a tray made as a single closed structure shaped around the said model, a system for monitoring and processing information upon the explosion hazard zone, a transporting system to move the tray with the model and a suspension system for the protective cover attachment. In ceiling part of the model there is an opening made with a blast-protection panel arranged in it, which is fitted loosely on springy rods with stopping plates. Bench is equipped with a damping element to damp the blast-protection panel impact loads on the plates. Blast-protection panel is made as a metal armored frame with metallic armored skin, and in the inner cavity of the damping element and the blast-protection panel there is an air-lead disperse system filler.

EFFECT: using the invention increases the efficiency of process equipment protection against explosions.
