FIELD: surveying.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to geodetic monitoring reservoirs of vertical cylindrical steel and can be used in calibration of steel and reinforced concrete of vertical cylindrical tanks intended for storage and sale operations with oil, oil products and other liquids. In disclosed method of determining value and direction of deviation of external outline of bottom of vertical cylindrical reservoir from horizontal geodetic method according to lower perimeter of said tank is scanned along lower perimeter of outer surface of wall and external circuit tank bottom by means of ground laser scanner with linear discreteness of scanning pitch within range from 0.5 to 5 cm. Determining spatial coordinates along axes X, Y, Z reflection points of laser beam from surface of reservoir in conditional coordinate system, then scans are recorded to each other, ground-based laser scanning results digital data are processed, constructing digital point three-dimensional (3D) model of lower belt of outer side surface of wall and external circuit of bottom of said tank. Design is simulated in digital three-dimensional (3D) model of external outline of tank bottom, using their design values, superimposed with obtained actual digital vector three-dimensional (3D) model of external outline of tank bottom, in automatic mode determined difference between actual and design values, values of deviation of design shape outline of bottom of said tank are obtained.
EFFECT: technical result is increase in accuracy and reliability of determining value and direction of deviation of external outline of bottom of vertical cylindrical reservoir by ground-based laser scanning.
