SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to installation and operation of inertial sensors, such as, for example, sensors of spatial position (gyroscopes) or motion sensors (accelerometers) aboard vehicle. Reduced measurement error.

EFFECT: proposed method comprises calibration device (S) of inertial sensor installed in arbitrary position on board vehicle (V), based on formation (200-500) matrix (R) conversion, adapted to convert actual measured data of dynamic parameters of vehicle (V) found in local system (x, y, z) coordinates, in the data indicating dynamic parameters of vehicle (V) in system (X, Y, Z) coordinates of vehicle, the value of each matrix element (R) conversion is modified by limiting orthogonality (600) matrix.
