HARDWARE AND SOFTWARE COMPLEX FOR MEASUREMENT AND INTEGRAL ESTIMATION OF SPINE FLEXIBILITY AND HIP JOINT MOBILITY IN FORWARD AND DOWNWARD INCLINATION TEST Russian patent published in 2016 - IPC A61B5/103

Abstract RU 2591603 C1

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, human physiology, fitness and sports training, and more specifically to means for medical diagnostic studies of integral estimation of spine flexibility, hip joint mobility, and elasticity of thigh and shin back surface muscles in forward and downward body inclination tests from initial sitting position with stretched legs, and this can be applied to routine monitoring of physical state, health, and performance ability in children, adolescents, and adults. Hardware and software complex for measurement and integral estimation of spine flexibility, hip joint mobility, and elasticity of thigh and shin back surface muscles in forward and downward body inclination tests from initial sitting position with stretched legs comprises housing, measurement module, which includes movable measuring element with pin stop installed in guides and enabled to displace in anterior-posterior direction, and stops for setting subject's feet in vertical position. Housing is made of horizontal monorail profile, installed on support elements, between vertical stops for feet, which are fixed on support elements. On lateral sides of profile there are roller guides to accommodate roller supports for supporting seat with locked selected position, and roller supports for movable carriages with popliteal roller stops. Between stops for feet there is measurement module on monorail profile, including programmable electronic and mechanical tooth-belt drive for carriage of measuring element, and horizontally laid chain cable channel for electric drive control circuit. On housing of measuring element, pin stop is arranged with built-in contact button for switching drive for movement of measuring element. Carriage is connected to measuring element by means of brackets. In front part of housing there is multifunctional control unit, which is set on bracket and contains input module for initial data of subject, wherein built-in and/or remote panel for personal recording and/or identification, module for data base processing and storage, monitoring and control module, (visual) information display module, and data transmission unit are included.

EFFECT: invention makes it possible to automate procedure with higher diagnostic accuracy and broader functional capabilities.
