FIELD: biotechnology.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to an anticancer composition containing a recombinant adenovirus expressing destructive factors for an extracellular matrix. According to the present invention, the recombinant adenovirus exhibits an excellent anti-tumor effect by significantly reducing the content of the main structural components of the extracellular matrix in the tumor tissue, including collagen I, collagen III, fibronectin, elastin, etc., as well as by expression of therapeutic gene at high level selectively only in tumor cells due to virus proliferation. In particular, when administered in combination with therapeutic materials, such as anti-cancer agents or immune control point inhibitors, recombinant adenovirus significantly increases diffusion and distribution of co-administered therapeutic materials in tumor tissues, while providing the possibility of developing existing anticancer effects, thereby further improving the anticancer effect.
EFFECT: accordingly, present invention can be available as main technique in cancer treatment.
