SUBSTANCE: present invention can be used for neutron capture therapy. Disclosed is a method, according to which: reading medical image data; determining the number of tissue clusters, wherein each tissue cluster comprises a tissue type, composition of elements and a density value; type of tissue presented in the medical image is determined in accordance with the ratio of the transformation between the medical image data and the tissue types selected from the tissue clusters. Additionally, tissue density is determined by conversion ratio between medical image data and density values selected from tissue clusters; setting boron-10 concentration; constructing three-dimensional (3D) coding matrix with information on tissue, tissue density and boron-10 concentration; generating a geometric model based on a three-dimensional coding matrix; neutron-capturing therapy is simulated on the basis of the generated geometrical model for development of a treatment plan and a treatment plan is applied to perform a neutron capture therapy of the patient.
EFFECT: invention provides improved accuracy of dose calculation for improving quality of treatment.
