FIELD: fire safety.

SUBSTANCE: invention can be used while ensuring fire safety in manned sealed compartments of long-term orbital stations and interplanetary ships intended for Lagrange points and their operation in these points. At that, used techniques provide fire safety, operating in accordance with an innovative technology, which provides prevention of fire at materials and substances and quenching of possible fire at without application of fire-extinguishing substances, and due to usage of physical phenomena during burning and providing self-extinguishing of materials and substances in flight, identified as a result of fundamental research processes ignition, combustion, smoldering materials, rate of developing and extinguish fire at under conditions of inhabited tight compartments of spacecrafts.

EFFECT: higher reliability and efficiency in prevention of fire at and minimising duration of fire extinguishing, efficiency and ecological efficiency of method and its device.
