FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for measuring dimensions and quantity of fat drops in preparations for parenteral administration. Proposed method comprises preparing a sample by adding drug emulsion filtered through membrane filter to a solution of sodium chloride, mixing obtained suspension and collecting part of obtained suspension and adding to filtered through membrane filter a solution of sodium chloride and mixing obtained suspension. Then sample is placed in measuring device, having an aperture tube, elements for control of aperture with current and fluid analysis system comprising pump and a measuring instrument. Measurement of quantity and dimensions of fat drops is performed by determining change in current between two electrodes arranged on opposite sides of aperture, while passing sample through aperture.
EFFECT: invention can be used for quality control of medicinal preparations.
