FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to method of loading material containing lumpy coal-containing material and preferably hot iron containing material, into smelting gas generator of reduction-smelting unit to allow controlled distribution of material. At that, lumpy carbon material and preferably hot iron containing material are combined before and/or during their occurrence in melting gas generator. There is possibility of changing ratio of combined amounts preferably of hot iron-containing material and lumpy carbon containing material.
EFFECT: method is characterised by that combined amount preferably hot iron-containing material and lumpy carbon containing material is distributed by means of dynamic distribution device in cross section of smelting gas generator and ratio of combined amounts of preferably hot iron-containing material and lump coal-containing material is set depending on position of dynamic distribution device.
