FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method and device for loading material containing iron-containing material (2a) and lumpy coal-containing material (2b) into melter gasifier (3) of reducing melting plant. Iron-containing material (2a) is preheated and/or reduced in shaft (5) filled with reducing gas (4), discharged from shaft (5) substantially at constant volume flow rate and fed into intermediate hopper (7), and from intermediate hopper (7) is introduced at variable volumetric flow rate of flow into dynamic distributing device for distribution along cross section of melting gasifier (3). At that, iron-containing material (2a) and lumpy coal-containing material (2b) are combined before and/or as they enter melting gasifier (3), and ratio of combined amounts of iron-containing material (2a) and lumpy carbon-containing material (2b) is variable.

EFFECT: ratio of combined amounts of iron-containing material and lumpy coal-containing material is controlled depending on position of dynamic distribution device.
