SUBSTANCE: method for producing melt cast iron comprises steps of preparing iron-containing mixture by drying and agitating iron ores and additives; passing iron-containing mixture through one or more successively arranged fluidized beds for converting mixture to reduced roasted material; forming compacted layer of coal as heat source for melting reduced material; charging reduced material onto compacted layer of coal and feeding reducing gas separated from compacted layer of coal to fluidized bed. At process of preparing iron containing mixture gas separated from fluidized bed is guided for drying at least one layer of matters selected from iron ores and additives.
EFFECT: enhanced efficiency of using energy, minimum number of equipment units.
