FIELD: nuclear engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to nuclear engineering. Fuel Assembly for nuclear reactor with liquid metal coolant includes fuel elements, installed in a frame consisting of guide pipes, spacer grids and shank. Assembly comprises a collet lock, that is installed inside shank, and a control mechanism for lock. Control mechanism consists of a head and a spacer sleeve which are kinematically linked by rods. Rods are arranged inside guide pipes. Head is made in form of a sleeve with inner groove. Spacer sleeve is located inside collet lock to interact with it.
EFFECT: technical result of present invention is improving fixation reliability of fuel assembly in supporting structure of core with simultaneous simplification of operation on attachment and extraction of assembly from core.
