FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to photon counting detector with direct conversion. Detector array contains at least one pixel detector of direct conversion, made with possibility of detecting photons of polychromatic ionising radiation, wherein pixel includes following: cathode layer; anode layer, including anode electrode for each of at least one pixel of detector; material of direct conversion located between cathode and anode layers; control electrode, arranged in material of direct conversion, parallel and located between cathode and anode layers; and voltage controller of pixels, electrically connected to control electrode, wherein pixels voltage controller has possibility of alternative application of one of two different voltages to control electrode during procedure of obtaining images on basis of photon counting rate for specified count rate period of time.
EFFECT: higher quality of tomographic image.
