FIELD: packaging industry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods of articles marking, in particular cultural valuables, namely pictures, sculptures, books, antique articles, with their subsequent identification and can be used for protection of cultural valuables from counterfeit, forgery and falsification. Procedure of marking composition application on museum exhibit item surface involves ultrasonic spraying of liquid marking composition on at least part of museum exhibit item surface with acoustic waves through liquid with operating frequency of 2.64 Mhz for forming aerosol, injection of aerosol for 5-10 seconds and its deposition in gravitational field for 10-30 seconds to obtain thin film.

EFFECT: technical result consists in application of marking composition in form of film with provision of accurate positioning of mark on object surface and uniform application of marking composition in required amount, wherein possibility of mechanical damages of museum objects in application of labels is eliminated.
