FIELD: ways of marking.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods for marking objects, in particular cultural objects, namely books, antiquarian articles, historical documents with their subsequent identification, and can be used to protect cultural property from forgery and falsification. Application is carried out for 15–120 s under the influence of an ultrasonic nebulizer with an operating frequency of 0.97 MHz to form an aerosol with a carrier gas consumption of 4–8 l/min and accelerated deposition of the aerosol obtained in a low-frequency pulsed electrostatic field at a voltage on high-voltage electrodes of 80–90 kV at a high-voltage pulse duration of 0.5–2 s.
EFFECT: technical result achieved with the implementation of the developed method consists in accelerated uniform application of protective labels to the surface of the object in the form of a thin film or dispersed layer formed from the deposited aerosols of various liquid marking compositions, including labeling compositions based on ethanol, isopropanol, liquid marking compositions with increased viscosity, suspensions of marking compositions containing microparticles larger than 1 mcm, acetone solutions of marking compositions.
