FIELD: optics.

SUBSTANCE: present invention discloses a method of connecting optical waveguide (2) built in component of fibrous composite (1), in particular, aircraft and spacecraft, with external optical wave guide (11). According to method, depending on depth of embedded optical waveguide, its path in component of fibrous composite is determined by non-destructive method, particularly optical method, digital shearography method, ultrasonic method, X-ray interferometric method. Method includes determining a nodal position (P), in which waveguides must be connected and part of embedded optical waveguide (2) in nodal position (P) is opened by removing part of component from fibrous composite (1) around embedded optical waveguide (2). Waveguides are then aligned with each other and aligned end parts (15, 16) of optical waveguides (2, 11) are spliced.

EFFECT: providing reliable connection by reproducible and constantly qualitative separation point of embedded optical waveguide.
