SUBSTANCE: invention relates to biochemistry. Described are polypeptides from fish hatching fluid. There are presented nucleic acid sequences coding same, pharmaceutical compositions containing said polypeptides and nucleic acid molecules. Described is use of said polypeptides in various medical and cosmetic applications to skin, particularly for moisturising skin and/or for exfoliation of horny layer of skin for treating or preventing skin disorders or conditions in an animal.
EFFECT: invention widens range of products for skin moisturising and treatment of diseases requiring moisturising and/or exfoliation of horny layer of skin.
