SUBSTANCE: passive heat removal system belongs to the field of nuclear power engineering, it is intended for removal of residual heat from the reactor installation and can be used in systems of passive cooling of reactor plants without consumption of external energy sources. The passive heat removal system contains a coolant circuit, a sealed container with a water reservoir with a heat exchanger placed in it, a steam-water injector placed above the water level in a sealed container and connected by a supply steam branch with a steam volume of a sealed container and a branch with a water volume of a sealed container, and water heat exchanger located below the sealed container and connected by a branch line to the steam-water injector.

EFFECT: creation of a passive heat removal system that allows reliable discharge of residual heat in passive mode for an unlimited time and excluding the possibility of loss of water reserves in a sealed container.
