FIELD: nuclear power.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to nuclear power engineering, specifically to systems for passive heat removal from internal volume of protective shell water-cooled power reactor (SPOT ZO), and is intended for cooling of protective shell of reactor by natural circulation of cooling water in circuit of system. System includes at least one cooling water circulation circuit containing a heat exchanger inside protective shell, which includes upper and lower headers connected heat exchange tubes, lifting and lowering pipelines with heat exchanger, cooling water reserve tank placed above heat exchanger outside volume of protective shell and connected with a downflow pipe, vapour release device connected with lifting pipe. Upper and lower headers of heat exchanger are divided into sections of heat exchange tubes, based on condition: L/D ≤ 20, where L is length of header section, D is inner diameter of reservoir.
EFFECT: technical result is efficiency of heat removal, stability of flow in loop and, consequently, reliability of system.
