FIELD: nuclear energy.
SUBSTANCE: system for passive heat removal from a pressurized-water reactor through a steam generator designed to cool the reactor by natural circulation of the coolant in the system circuit. The system includes at least one coolant circulation circuit containing a steam generator and a heat exchanger located above the steam generator inside the cooling water storage tank and connected to the steam generator by means of inlet and outlet pipelines. The heat exchanger includes lower and upper headers connected by heat exchange tubes, each heat exchanger consists of one section, is located in an individual enclosure, and is connected to its own steam generator. In addition, a perforated sheet is located in the cooling water storage tank above the top of the heat exchangers.
EFFECT: creation of an efficient and reliable heat removal system, an increase in the efficiency of heat removal, a stable flow in the circuit, and a simplification of the design.
