SUBSTANCE: invention relates to device for detection of x-ray radiation. Apparatus for detecting radiation comprises radiation receiving unit, including: first scintillator for generation of first scintillation light depending on radiation, where first scintillation light has first character behaviour in time, second scintillator for generating second scintillation light depending on radiation, where second scintillation light has second behaviour in time, which differs from first behaviour in time, scintillation light detection unit for detecting first scintillation light and second scintillation light and to generate total light detection signal, which indicates first scintillation light and second scintillation light, unit for determining detected values for determination of first detected value and second detected value, wherein unit for determining detected values is configured to: determination of first detected value by applying first process of determining to common light detecting signal, wherein first process of determining includes frequency filtration of common light detection signal by using first frequency filter, thereby generating first filtered common light detecting signal, and determination of first detected value depending on first filtered common light detection signal, determining second detected value by applying second process of determining common light detection signal, wherein second process of determining differs from first determination process.
