FIELD: mining.

SUBSTANCE: invention can be used for determination of quantitative content of native gold in ore. Invention consists in that monolayer of pieces in a sample of ore with linear dimension of separate pieces H not greater than ten times characteristic linear dimension of least subject to detection and assessment of particles of gold h (H ≤ 10 h), is placed between an x-ray image receiver and an x-ray source with focal spot size d, not greater than h (d ≤ h), and a shadow x-ray image of ore sample, on which characteristic size of x-ray image of smallest gold particle has a size A, not less than three times linear pixel size D of x-ray image receiver (A≥3D).

EFFECT: technical result is improved accuracy and rapidness of process of quantitative determination of content of gold in ore.
