FIELD: information technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to projector for image display. Result is achieved by image processing device used for projector, displays image by projection of image on a projection surface, and image forming section detection is configured to generate image detection, which is an image having possibility of projection image displayed on projection surface, and includes multiple parts of image detection. Each of parts of image detection includes a plurality of regions corresponding to brightness value of which differ from each other. Image forming section varies distribution of brightness of each part of image detection for image detecting subject to formation, so that maximum brightness of parts of image detecting included in captured image detecting obtained photograph image detecting projected on a projection surface, are in an allowable range.
EFFECT: providing additional technology improvement of accuracy of separation and accuracy of detecting image detection, projected on a projection surface.
