FIELD: engines.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to design internal combustion engine spark plug. Described is a spark plug including a housing as a ground contact to an internal combustion engine, a centre electrode situated in housing along a centre axis of spark plug, an insulator between centre electrode and housing, and a side electrode with two radial parts which located at an angle to each other in radial plane located facing combustion chamber side of centre electrode and perpendicular to centre axis, wherein each of both ends of side electrode is connected to housing in its place of connection with it. According to invention first distance between end of housing facing combustion chamber and radial plane is shorter than or equal to second distance between one of connection points and centre axis and/or side electrode is tapered towards centre axis.
EFFECT: technical result is reduction of heat absorption by side electrode and longer life of spark plug.
