FIELD: electrical engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electrical engineering. Vehicle electric power supply system comprises electric network 1 with negative and positive wires, to which are connected accumulator battery 2 and electric starter 3; capacitor bank 4; reversible converter 5, connected between capacitor bank and electric network; regulator 6; thermal sensor 11. At input 10 of regulator is applied capacitor bank voltage, additional input 12 of regulator is connected to thermal sensor, controller outputs are connected to control inputs 7, 8, 9 of reversible converter, which is made so that based on signal on control inputs can change parameters of its volt-ampere characteristic at outputs from side of the electric network. Regulator is designed so that value of maximum current, flowing from reversible converter to electric network, is decreasing function of temperature of thermal sensor.

EFFECT: technical result is longer service life of electric starter and reliability of power supply system.
