FIELD: optics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to glass melting and is used during cooking optical laser glass at stage of glass clarification. Bubbling device for dehydration of glass mass comprises a tube, changing into hollow case shaped as a truncated cone. Smaller base of cone faces tube, and larger base is made in form of circular platform, changing into convergent part of base with bottom, wherein throughout circumference of annular platform there are holes. Number and size of holes on annular platform are made in accordance with a specific use of composition and volume of glass mass. Bubbler is made from silica ceramics based on glass-like silicon dioxide containing SiO2 at least 96 wt%.
EFFECT: high efficiency of bubbling, reduced duration of process of dehydration of molten glass and improved optical qualities.
