FIELD: information technology.
SUBSTANCE: image processing device is disclosed. Device comprises setting module, quantisation module, transmitting module. Setting module performs task of substitute difference coefficient, which represents difference between substitute coefficient and coefficient, located at the beginning of quantisation matrix size of which is limited by size not exceeding the size of transmission, which is maximum size allowed during data transfer. Substitute coefficient is used to replace coefficient located at the beginning of pull-up quantisation matrix produced by means of pull-up conversion of quantisation matrix up to the same size as block size, which is portion of processing, in which dequantization is performed.
EFFECT: reduced volume of code required for processing image data due to transmission of substitute coefficient instead of coefficient which is located at the beginning of quantisation matrix.
