FIELD: test equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to testing equipment, and it is intended for determining resistance of granulated materials to wearing loads in intensive mode, particularly, cracking catalysts. Device comprises a test chamber consisting of a casing and a cover rigidly secured on the rod, making vertically reciprocating movement 1,300 times per minute by the crank gear. Test chamber has oval inner geometry allowing to reduce the contribution of impact load and to increase the role of wearing load on granulated materials during tests.
EFFECT: possibility of simulating processes of particles wear in reactors with moving layer of catalysts.
