FIELD: nuclear engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to polymer compositions used in nuclear engineering, namely for conditioning of low-and medium spent ion-exchange resins (IER). Polymer matrix material for immobilisation of low and medium spent radioactive ion-exchange resins with moisture content less than 0.4 % as binder contains epoxy-diane resin with oligomer-modifier based on dioxybenzole and curing agent in form of low-molecular polyamide with following ratio (pts.wt): epoxy-diane resin is 100; oligomer based on dioxybenzole is 5-20; amine type hardener is 13-70. Radiation resistance of polymer matrix is 1 MGy, degree of filling by IER is 50.0-85.7 vol%.

EFFECT: improved manufacture ability of radioactive wastes conditioning process, low toxicity, low fire hazard while maintaining high operational characteristics of polymer matrix material.
