SUBSTANCE: invention refers to experimental medicine and can be used for growth inhibition of methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus strain. Method provides for radiation treatment of bacterial cell suspension of methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus strain with ruby light (λ -660 nm). Power density is 100 mW/cm2, radiation time is 10, 15 or 30 minutes in a continuous mode. Radiant exposure is 60, 90 and 180 J/cm2 respectively.

EFFECT: invention simplifies the method for staphylococci growth inhibition.
