SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a novel compound of general formula (I), in which: R1 and R2 represent: OH, hydrogen atom, C1-C6 alkyl radical, C1-C6 alkoxy radical or a halogen atom; R4 is: COR5, pyranose radical which can be partially or completely acetylated; R5 is: C10-C24 alkyl radical or C12-C24 alkenyl radical containing at least one unsaturated bond, mainly from 1 to 6 and preferably from 1 to 4; R6 and R7 are: -simultaneously a hydrogen atom or methyl radical, or when R6 is a hydrogen atom, R7 is a C1-C6 alkyl radical or phenyl, unsubstituted or substituted with one or more C1-C3 alkoxy radicals or one or more halogen atoms, to pharmaceutically or cosmetically acceptable salts thereof and methods for preparation thereof.

EFFECT: compound of formula I may be used as a therapeutic or cosmetic active ingredient for depigmentation of skin and/or hair, for treatment or prevention of skin aging or inflammation, as well as to pharmaceutical or cosmetic compositions based thereon.
