FIELD: food industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to food industry. Disclosed is a liquid or gelled pasteurised or sterilised composition. Composition contains free amino acids, calcium, a digestible carbohydrate. Free amino acids are present in composition in a concentration between 5 and 30 g/100 ml. Dry weight of total composition is at least 40 g/100 ml. Also disclosed is use of said composition as a medicinal agent, in particular for treatment of a human suffering from phenylketonuria, homocystinuria, maple syrup urine disease, tyrosinaemia, propionic acidaemia, methylmalonic acidaemia, isovaleric acidaemia, urea cycle disorders and glutaric aciduria. Method of preparing composition comprises multistep homogenisation at temperature of at least 60 °C.
EFFECT: invention enables to obtain a stable composition without sedimentation of lumps, granules or other particles and without unpleasant taste sensations and with high concentration of amino acids.
