SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to biotechnology. Methods of using molecular imprinted polymers (MIP) for preparing pharmaceutical composition for treating, reducing or preventing various diseases, caused by disturbance of metabolism of amino acids or carbohydrates, are disclosed. Application involves introduction in gastrointestinal tract of patient effective amount of MIP composition. MIP composition is capable of binding an agent, accumulation of which causes symptoms of above disease wherein MIP are insoluble, and therefore, they can penetrate through gastrointestinal tract mucosa.

EFFECT: this invention allows to reduce incoming of toxic substances, agents causing said disease into blood flow.
