SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to controlled directional drilling. Modular drive designed for direction of drill string, which includes housing and drive shaft passing through housing, wherein said modular drive comprises cartridge made with possibility of connection to housing external surface adjacent to drive shaft; fluid tank arranged in cartridge; piston, at least partially located in cartridge with possibility of translational displacement, wherein drive piston is made with possibility of displacement between first and second positions; and hydraulic control system placed inside cartridge and connecting fluid medium reservoir with drive piston via fluid medium, wherein hydraulic control system is made with possibility to control drive piston displacement between first and second positions so, that to provide drive shaft displacement by drive piston, and thus, change of drill string direction.
EFFECT: enabled simplified replacement of separate drives from outside of deflecting tool, simplification of pressure change in the system.
