SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a strain of cyanobacterium Synechococcus sp., which is a producer of mycosporin-like amino acids. Cyanobacterial strain Synechococcus sp. NAMSU-0051 was deposited in the Microalgae Cultures Collection of the Timiryazev Institute of Plant Physiology RAS (IPPAS) under the registration number IPPAS B-2053. The accumulation of mycosporin-like amino acids is 3.7-3.9 wt.%, the productivity of mycosporin-like amino acids is 155-160 mg/l for 14 days of cultivation, the biomass accumulation is 4.0-4.1 g/l.

EFFECT: strain is characterized by a high capacity for the accumulation of mycosporin-like amino acids and has a high productivity for mycosporin-like amino acids and for the accumulation of biomass.
