FIELD: biotechnology.
SUBSTANCE: following is proposed: a method of obtaining biomass of cyanobacteria of Leptolyngbya genus which includes cultivation in a photobioreactor using chemically inert carriers to which cyanobacterial cells attach and form microcolonies. Polyamide optically transparent particles of 50 microns in size in an amount of 1 g/l of nutrient medium or Polysorb MP finely dispersed pharmacological sorbent in an amount of 0.25 g/l of nutrient medium are used as a carrier, while active mixing of the biomass is carried out in the photobioreactor.
EFFECT: invention provides an expansion of the arsenal of methods of cultivating marine filamentous cyanobacteria of the genus Leptolyngbya, leading an attached lifestyle in optimal conditions for growth.
