FIELD: construction.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to building of reservoirs, in particular, to erection of large steel vertical tanks for storage of oil and oil products on weak soils. Foundation for vertical steel reservoir consists of piles and a reinforced concrete plate. Lower part of the reinforced concrete plate has recesses representing segments of spheres, located along the whole area of the reinforced concrete plate in several rows. Piles are rigidly connected with the reinforced concrete plate and are located at points of intersection of three segments of spheres and represent truncated quadrangular pyramids arranged with preliminary soil forging.

EFFECT: increased carrying capacity of the foundation, ensuring of uniform distribution of loads between the piles and the reinforced concrete plate or grill, reduction of material consumption.
