FIELD: acoustics.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to noise suppression. Silencer comprises a cylindrical housing, rigidly connected with end inlet and outlet branch pipes, rigidly connected with central partitions, having perforation, housing is made in form of barrel, having inlet branch pipe at bottom, and central partitions are made in form of discs package, wherein in extreme discs holes are made in peripheral part, and in central part of package are in center, and discs package attachment is made by means of at least two rods, one end of which is connected with inlet branch pipe, and other is with discharge branch pipe, connected with housing opposite end surface, wherein, between disks in package rings are arranged, connected with rods in peripheral part.

EFFECT: higher efficiency of noise suppression due to exclusion of “radiation effect” and penetration of sound waves, both along silencer axis and through its two walls by introducing of sound-absorbing elements on sound waves propagation path.
