FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to medicine. Apparatus for providing a negative pressure at a wound site comprises a suction pump to generate negative pressure, a negative pressure reservoir, a valve element and an additional valve element connected between the reservoir of negative pressure and the suction pump and made with possibility of connecting the suction pump to the negative pressure reservoir at pressure drop in the said reservoir to the threshold value of negative pressure. Valve element is intended for selective provision of fluid communication between the above reservoir and a wound site when negative pressure in the said reservoir exceeds the threshold value of negative pressure, thereby ensuring the preset negative pressure at the wound site. Valve element comprises a permeable element with opposing side walls. In response to pressure reduction in the said reservoir to the threshold value of negative pressure the suction pump is actuated to recover the initial negative pressure in the said reservoir. Method of providing negative pressure at a wound site, in which at negative pressure in the negative pressure reservoir exceeding the threshold value of negative pressure, by means of the valve element, fluid communication between the negative pressure reservoir and the wound site is selectively provided in order to provide the specified negative pressure at the wound site in response to the reduction of negative pressure in the said reservoir to the threshold value of negative pressure the initial negative pressure is restored in the said reservoir by means of the suction pump through an additional valve element connected between the negative pressure reservoir and the suction pump and configured to connect the suction pump with the negative pressure reservoir at the pressure drop in the said reservoir to the threshold value of negative pressure. Valve element comprises a permeable element with opposing side walls. Method for limiting the operating time of the suction pump to ensure negative pressure at a wound site, in which by means of the suction pump the initial negative pressure in the negative pressure reservoir is provided; fluid communication between the above reservoir and wound site is selectively provided to maintain the specified negative pressure at the wound site by means of the valve element containing the permeable element with the opposing side walls. Suction pump is connected to the negative pressure reservoir through an additional valve element connected between the negative pressure reservoir and the suction pump and made with the possibility of connecting the suction pump with the negative pressure reservoir at the pressure drop in the said reservoir to the threshold value of negative pressure. Suction pump operates only when negative pressure in the negative pressure reservoir is reduced to the threshold value of negative pressure. Device for selective provision of fluid communication comprises an element with opposing side walls, an input element to retain the side walls at a distance from each other in the open position at the first end of the permeable element and output element for retaining the side walls at a distance from each other in the open position at the second end of the permeable element. Opposing side walls are installed in the permeable element in the open position, in which the side walls are located at a distance from each other, forming a passage, and in the closed position, in which the side walls adjoin each other, closing the passage. Side walls are made flexible, and their displacement in the said open position with a passage providing fluid communication, or in the said closed position is a response to the pressure difference on the side walls. Method for selective provision of fluid communication between the first and second areas of negative pressure includes the following: connecting a permeable element between the first area of negative pressure and the second area of negative pressure; providing an input element to retain the side walls at a distance from each other in the open position at the first end of the passage; providing an output element to retain the side walls at a distance from each other in the open position at the second end of the passage. Permeable element has opposing side walls arranged in the open position, in which the side walls are located at a distance from each other, and in the closed position, in which side walls adjoin each other in order to close the passage, wherein the side walls are made flexible. Pressure difference acting on the flexible side walls is used to move of the flexible side walls between the open position in which the passage allows fluid communication between the first and second areas of negative pressure, and the closed position in response to pressure difference. Method of producing the permeable element for selective provision of liquid communication according to the first version consists in the following: placing a masking strip on the first surface of the first side wall to define a permeation region; forming a second side wall above the first surface of the first side wall and the masking strip, so that at sections of the first surface, where the masking strip is absent, the first and second side walls are attached to each other; extracting the masking strip from the space between the first and second side walls, wherein the first and second side walls form the said permeable element. Method of producing the permeable element for selective provision of liquid communication according to the second version consists in the following: subjecting the permeating element to deformation, when the opposing side walls are deformed to facilitate their movement between the open and closed position, in which the side walls are located at a distance from each other, and the closed position, in which the side walls adjoin each other to close or open the passage of the permeable element as a response to the pressure difference at the side walls or on the side walls between the external surface and inner surface of the opposing walls.

EFFECT: invention provides a supply of negative pressure to a wound site for a long period without the need of actuating a mechanized negative pressure source to exclude interference with user's sleep.
